A BIT ABOUT US

The Kids Adventure Company was born out of the sheer fun and passion our kids have thrown into enjoying every minute of their childhood, having parents with a desire for living life to the full, thriving on Adventures and Fresh Air rather than possessions. 'Do what you like, like what you do' was our mantra for living a life that has led us on family adventures BIG and small with not a desk or office in sight! Friends always said 'I wish we could do that with our kids, but we don't know how'.
That's where we come in..........

JO BAZLEY

Teacher and Outdoor Professional

Jo loves Fresh Air! It doesn't matter what the weather is doing, just get the right gear on and get out there! One of her favourite things to do is camp in the rain (as long as there are no bears in the area!) She has enjoyed Adventures in The Great Outdoors all her life and has spent the last 23 years sharing her passion with children of all ages, exploring, laughing and inspiring!

Mike loves introducing the Great Outdoors to young people, whether that's in the sea, on the river or up a cliff! Over the last 20 years he has worked with thousands of youngsters of all ages and abilities, leading many expeditions abroad. He is especially good with nervous people, who soon grow in confidence through his calm reassuring manner with a smattering of poor jokes!

SAFETY

We are parents!

Safety is our paramount concern when we send our own kids off to clubs and activities with their friends. We pride ourselves that many of our parents have worked with us or known us for years and know that their children will be looked after as if they were our own. Mike and I have worked together in Outdoor Education for 25 years (we met on teacher training at Leeds Uni), we have an AALA  licence (which means that we have been Inspected as an Adventurous Activity provider), and of course we have insurance. We will do our utmost to make sure your child has an exciting adventure to remember, although they may pick up the old bump and scrape along the way!
